Welcome to Journey Through the Stations of the Cross
This journey will take about 20 minutes. Afterwards, we welcome all followers of Jesus to partake of communion if you have access to the elements of bread and juice. Consider gathering with your family or table group to discuss the Table Talk questions below.

1. Jesus is compelled to desperate prayer. What has driven you to such a time of prayer? Who do you gather around you when you are overwhelmed? What do you think Jesus dreaded most?

2. When have you been betrayed? How did it make you feel?

How did Jesus handle Judas’ betrayal? Why?

3. Jesus was condemned by the religious leaders. What was their fear?

4. What emotions does the mockery of Jesus stir up in you?

Read Hebrews 12:2. What was Jesus focused on, specifically as it pertains to you?

5. Jesus said: If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. – Matthew 16:24

What does this mean to you?

6. Why do you think Jesus kept His scars in His glorified body?

What scars do you carry? How do they attest to God’s sovereignty?

7. Romans crucified criminals naked to add to their shame. Where did we first see nakedness paired with shame? How are these two scenes connected?

8. The two criminals had very different reactions to Jesus. What would you say to Jesus if you had been standing there at the cross?

9. Consider the great exchange: your sinfulness for Christ’s righteousness. Have you fully understood that you are counted as if you had never sinned?

10. What did Jesus mean when He said: What I’m about to tell you is true. Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only one seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. – John 12:24?

11. When Jesus was buried, the disciples had given up all hope, though Sunday was coming! Do you have a hopeless situation you should bring back before God?

12. When the women at the tomb saw the Risen Jesus, they fell to His feet and worshiped Him (Matthew 28:9). What is your act of worship today?
