Title: Red Sea Reset // Exodus 13:17-22

Quick Review:
God heard the cries of His people who had spent decades in slavery. God moved boldly to set them free, but what would they do now? As we travel along with the Israelites, we see it’s not always easy to change habits and mindsets. God remained in the midst of His people as He guided them to reset everything and re-center on Him.

As a family, take time to discuss these questions and possible action steps you can take.

What is something we reset in our house? (clock, video game, computer)
Why do things sometimes need to be reset?

What was reset for the Israelites?
Why did God take them on the long path? How did God help them?
What did they learn about God?

What was reset for each of us last month? For our family?
What have we learned/what are we learning about God in the past month?

Are there any other things in our family that could use a reset?
How can our reset re-center us on God?
Read Proverbs 3:5-6. How can we follow this verse, practically, as we reset?
Pray as a family. Ask God to guide every step you so you don’t miss any good thing He has planned for you.
