What about God? Have you ever felt like you let Him down?
(Getting crick in neck from too much nodding…)
But amazingly, God’s response to being let down is so unlike what we usually see around us that it will make us shake our head in disbelief. Yet as we will see from Hosea 2, his promises are good and his patience is relentless. Even though the people had committed spiritual “adultery” in their idolatry of Baal, God’s true, authentic love opened hope in the midst of trouble.
He still does the same for us today.
