Whether it’s an aisle at a department store, a TV menu of endless channels, or the fastest route to take to work, we now have more information and more options than ever before.
I mean, have you ever counted how many kinds of cookie are sold at the grocery? We now have so many options that an entire industry of consumer guides, recommendations, and reviews has sprung up to help us make the “best” decision.
But according to Jesus, human life is actually quite simple. It all boils down to just one choice.
This week, as we wrap up our study of the great Sermon on the Mount, we will hear his words again challenging us to choose well and wisely.
