As Paul concludes his letter to the Philippians, he tells them again to “stand firm” in the midst of opposition and challenge. But in order to stand well, we must stand firmly upon the family of God’s people and our faith in Christ’s work. But fights and fear can undercut our strength. How does Paul tell us to respond to these two challenges in such a way that we can live in “peace that transcends understanding?”
