I love the Louis Armstrong song, What a Wonderful World. It reminds me of all that is good in the world. It springs into my mind often when I am in the mountains or at the ocean shore. Whenever it plays in my mind I go back to scenes from the movie Good Morning Vietnam, where they overlay that beautiful song onto horrific scenes of war and chaos. Psalm 104 could have been the inspiration for that song; it is a praise hymn for the God of creation. In Psalm 104, God takes chaos and makes something beautiful out of it. We find a God who is very much in the details of life–a God who is worthy of praise. We will take a deeper look at the Psalm and what is says about the chaos of the day and a God who is in the details. Whether your life is beautiful right now or is horribly broken, there is a God who desires to be with you in the song.

Peace of Christ, Randy
