Note: As we continue in our study of the book Psalms, one recurring truth that emerges is that God defends the weak, and specifically he calls his followers to care for orphans, often referred to as the fatherless. This Sunday, we will take a special look at God’s adoptive heart, and the way that our spiritual adoption as sons and daughters of God compels how we live today. I’m also excited to weave in my family’s own adoption story that is full of the redemption that only Jesus can accomplish.
