For the last nine weeks we have attempted to reintroduce ourselves to an ancient way of looking at the Scriptures. It is the reality that Scripture is One Story. This week we come to the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each in its unique style describes the same events, like a symphony crescendo, presenting Christ the conquering King.
Easter is Resurrection Sunday; it is the dawn of the New Creation.
God has kept His promise.
This Sunday is why we gather; this Sunday is why it matters. Without this Sunday, nothing matters. Because of this Sunday, everything matters.
