Title: Red Sea Reset: Enough // Exodus 16

Quick Review:
As the great crowd of Israelites wandered through the wilderness, their stomachs grumbled and their mouths were soon to follow! God miraculously provided the exact amount of food they needed every day, teaching all of us a lesson in contentment and trust in our Provider.

As a family, take time to discuss these questions and possible action steps you can take.

What would you learn from collecting manna every day?
What is a Sabbath?
How did the Israelites’ actions (in Exodus 16:27) reveal how much they trusted God?
Do you take a Sabbath every week? Why or why not?
What do you think you would learn if you kept a Sabbath every week?

How do you determine how much is enough in your life:
How do you know when you have enough to eat?
How do you know when you have enough money?
How do you know when you work long enough?
How do you know when you have enough screen time?
How do you know when you have enough time studying?
How do you know when you have enough time spent together?

How can you let God define enough for you?

Read Philippians 4:10-14. (Note the context of verse 13.) Being content/satisfied/trusting God with
what ever amount He gives us is one of the least natural things we can do. But with Jesus’ help, we
can do it! We can do every kind of thing with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Extra Steps: Spend a few minutes in prayer, asking God what you have more than enough of.
Who might not have enough of that? How can you share that with someone this week?
