A few weeks ago in his sermon at Grace Snellville, Matt Reynolds cited a study that suggests parents need to repeat an idea 2,000 times with their children before it will really stick. 2,000! (At our house, however, it sometimes feel like we hit that number by lunchtime.) But this statistic raises an interesting question. What are the lessons of first importance when we make disciples? What were the highest priorities for Jesus as he invested in his inner circle of Peter, James, and John? I am SO looking forward to being back at Snellville this Sunday not only to share the final sermon in our summer series but also to pray for and bless our educators and schools.
