Discipleship isn’t really discipleship until it addresses our heart, our motivations and our inner life. Discipleship is not simply just a process of learning–Judas learned all the same material the other disciples did. It is a process of maturing, self evaluation and constant surrender of your desires for the desires of the kingdom.

Judas was an important member of the 12 disciples and was entrusted with the money. He had all of the same opportunities for transformation and growth that the other disciples had but rather than growing and flourishing, he stole and betrayed.
