KidzLife resumes Wednesday, January 8, 2020
KidzLife meets every Wednesday night (Aug. 21, 2019 – Mar. 25, 2020) from 6 – 8 p.m.
KidzLife is our dynamic Wednesday night program that teaches kids how they can live the most adventuresome lives possible – life following Jesus in God’s kingdom. Through creative presentations and interactive small groups, kids go deep into God’s word, learn to hear God’s voice, and walk in the power of His Holy Spirit. Furthermore, our kids hide the Scripture in their hearts and impact other nations through our hands-on mission component. Our leaders are equally blessed as they intentionally disciple the next generation.
KidzLife is for kids age 2 through 5th grade. Due to space limitations, Kiddoz (2-year-olds) is only offered for your volunteers’ children.
We believe that children can hear God speaking to them and can have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus. We want them to memorize God’s Word with understanding so that they can apply it to their everyday lives.
KidzLife features one Bible passage per week. Each child has a journal with weekly Bible verses to memorize and a few questions to get them thinking before they come on Wednesday night. When they come to KidzLife, they hear exciting Bible teaching, based on the passage they’ve already read for the week. Praise and worship, including the memory verses set to music, is incorporated into this time. Next, they go to small groups, where leaders and kids build relationships and grow in their understanding of God’s Word and how it applies to them. This plan opens a very wide door through which our kids can truly experience the abundant life that God has for each one!
BigKidz Our preschoolers also learn the big picture of the Bible, presented to them in a continual story. The Big Picture Story Bible presents the Kingdom as a story that little ones can understand. Parents read this beautifully illustrated book at home with their children. There are also corresponding flashcards with the weekly memory verse. We call it “BIGKidz” because that’s what every preschooler wants to be – a big kid!
