We will be going to Florida to help with relief efforts following Hurricane Michael. Operation Blessing International (www.ob.org) will host our team in Panama City. All food, housing and tools will be supplied – you’ll just need to bring clothes, personal items and sleeping bag. We will car pool from Grace on Saturday, the 24th and return on Saturday, Dec. 1st. However, if you have your own transportation, you may come for a partial week.

Location of Service: Not yet pinpointed but between Panama City Beach and Port St. Joe.
Housing: A Panama City school has been converted to a dormitory. Each class room has a bathroom. Showers located in a portable shower trailer.
Scope of Service: Most likely clean-up (removing trees and debris; muking out buildings; removing drywall and carpeting; etc….)
What to Bring: bedding or sleeping bag, personal items, work clothing.
Operation Blessing will provide three meals per day, all tools and sleeping accommodations.
We will leave from Grace on Saturday morning, November 24, Time TBD. Arrive back to Grace Saturday, December 1, Time TBD. We will carpool.
If you need to return early, that’s fine, please let me know so that we can arrange for the best use of available vehicles.
