TrueNorth exists to empower the next generation of disciple-makers. Our mission is to see students deepen their love for God, grow together as His family, and make a real difference in the world. We believe relational discipleship is the way to fulfill this mission. Come and join us as we follow the One who is unchanging, Jesus Christ.
TrueNorth: Several hundred High School students gather every Sunday at 9:00 AM in the High School room to hear from God’s Word and respond by worshipping together. This is an incredible way for students, both new and old, to get connected to our ministry and meet new friends.
Encounter House Church: Every Wednesday during the school year, we meet in the D-house from 6:00-8:00 PM for TN (TrueNorth) Ignite. Here we learn the foundations of Christianity and discuss it in a smaller group setting. If you are new to Christianity or still trying to understand what you believe about the Bible, TN Ignite is perfect for you. It is also an incredible place to build community and gain meaningful friendships. For more information contact Jeremy Nuckolls at
TrueNorth Nights: Sunday, 6-8pm - Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Dec. 30 in the Grace Auditorium.True North Nights is a once-a-month worship night for our High School Students. Each worship night is intentionally designed to invite our students into passionate worship and to launch them our into missional movements.
Be The D-Group: Once a month on the same Sunday as TrueNorth Nights we will replace our TrueNorth AM service with what we call Be The Dgroup. This creates an opportunity for our discipleship groups to meet offsite in various locations and homes in order to build a deeper well of community. For more information about where your group may be meeting please contact your Dgroup leader or email .
D-Groups: Discipleship is the most important thing we do at TrueNorth. Our desire is for every student to be involved in a D-Group, because in these small groups they learn how to go deeper into God’s Word while also forming deeper relationships with each other. Sign up here.
D-group leaders: If you would like to volunteer as a D-group leader, sign up here.
LUG Heads: Why would a High School student be interested in attending a Wednesday night Middle School event? Great question! During LUG Live, the High School students (LUG heads) teach the Bible and lead discipleship groups of Middle School students. We are continuously amazed at how much thought, prayer, and heart our LUG Heads pour into leading their Middle School students every Wednesday night. Sign up to be a LUG head here.
