LUG
Welcome to LUG! This is the Middle School Ministry of Grace Snellville. We are the home of hundreds of Middle School students, High School Leaders called LUG Heads, and parent volunteers. While some people may not believe that Middle School students can make a difference in their world, we disagree. We think they can know God in an intimate way and do His work on their campuses, and we have seen them do it in powerful ways!
If you would like to stay up to date on everything happening here at LUG, visit our Sign-Ups page to sign-up for the LUG E-mail, texting service, and more!
Here are our gathering times:
Sunday Morning: 9am in the Middle School room, downstairs main building.
Wednesdays: 6-8pm in the main auditorium, during the school year.
If you are interested in making LUG your home, we would love to have you! There are four primary avenues of getting involved:
1) LUG Church: Every Sunday morning at 9:00am LUG Church happens in the Middle School Room. At LUG church, Middle School students come together to hear from God’s word and respond in worship. We love meeting visitors at LUG Church, so don’t be afraid to come and introduce yourself!
2) LUG PM: Sunday evenings, 5-6:30 pm at the Middle School Room. Join us for small groups, teaching, worship, basketball, foosball, volleyball, dodge ball and food.
3) LUG Live: Our largest gathering of the week takes place on Wednesday nights throughout the school year. The program begins at 6:00 and lasts until 8:00. During those two hours, LUG Live is divided into three parts. The first thirty minutes is all about fun! Students sing energetic songs, watch hilarious skits, play crazy games, and listen to a student testimony. For the second portion, students break off into Discipleship groups for about fifty minutes. These discipleship groups are led primarily by High School students who have a heart for reaching Middle School students, although there is also an adult in every group. Discipleship is our favorite part of LUG and is actually the reason we do the entire night. Finally, students come back together to hear some Biblical teaching and respond to God’s Word through worship. Feel free to come early to hang out and eat pizza or chick-fil-a for dinner!
4) Generation Salaam: Every Wednesday at 5:00pm, both High and Middle School students travel to apartment complexes in Clarkston and share the love of Christ with the kids who live there. It is a great place for students to serve and learn what it means to demonstrate God’s love. If you are interested in learning more about Generation Salaam, e-mail Erin@gfc.tv or come see it for yourself by meeting in the High School Room at 5:00pm for worship and prayer, then we leave at 5:30!
