KIDS

We are convinced that God is active in the lives of  kids – we see it happen. We do not believe that kids have to wait to grow up before they can hear from God, or impact His kingdom. Our kids have influenced their friends, their families, their teachers, and even the nations.

Our model from Kindergarten up is: large group teaching time, small groups that we call “huddle groups,” and corporate worship. Our goal is to equip children through in-depth Bible teaching in large group time, and reinforce that teaching in our huddle groups. The large group teacher presents biblical truth, teaching straight from God’s Word, using age-appropriate vocabulary and illustrations. In huddle groups, our kids see how the Biblical principles apply to their own life. Their huddle group leader, who is consistent each week, guides the kids in hands-on activities and discussion designed to help kids become aware of God’s voice and direction in everything they do. Our response to what God has shown us is praise and worship. Each venue has its own praise band to facilitate lively expression from the hearts and mouths of our kids.
