Kingdom Fight

It is the hope of every generation that their children will dream bigger and see further as the result of lessons learned resting on the shoulders of their parents. But sometimes the lessons learned are not learned on the shoulders, they are learned by the failures of their forefathers.

How do you step into the shoes of one of the most successful leaders ever to live–someone whose guidance defines the word leadership–yet who failed at the task he lived for?

Joshua lived in the shadow of Moses. Now Joshua is called to do what Moses could not do–take the next generation where the last generation only dreamed of going. This week our adventure though the Kingdom narrative brings us into places promised to generations past. Our symbol this week is the sword, which is representative of the battles that marked this era in Israel’s history.

Hope now becomes reality. What God tells Joshua is what every generation needs relearn and what was forgotten when he died.
