This summer we are learning some new, old songs. We are spending–I should say investing–our hearts in the heart of Scripture, the Psalms. Psalm 11 asks a question, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Hebrews tells us that there is coming a time when God will shake everything that can be shaken. It is in the Psalms we find the songs that guide us to the ancient, trusted, proven paths. The Psalms ring anthems of hope in a world hopelessly beyond hope. In this series, we are embracing the songs Jesus sang, the songs that enabled men and women to live boldly in a world that crumbled beneath their feet. Come sing with us.

One Story is Our Story. On the heels of a 12 week walk through the entire narrative of Scripture, we look ahead to a series of family celebrations (Mother’s Day, Senior’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day).

This Sunday as we gather, we will celebrate the Keyes’ story. God is weaving His passion for disciple-making more deeply into the hearts and lives of Aaron, Megan and their boys. Aaron will be leading us through the Word this week and sharing about God’s calling on him and his family. He longs to advance Christ’s Kingdom by cultivating discipleship, and we have enthusiastic anticipation of how God will invite and challenge us while we hear Aaron’s story.

Organic Ministry of Grace
Organizational Meeting, Sunday, May 13 at 5pm
Learning Cottage A1

Come find out what’s growing at Grace!

Mission Statement for Organic Ministry of Grace
Part 1: The purpose of the Organic Ministry of Grace is to build a community garden where people come and learn how to live an abundant, healthy lifestyle the way God created us to live. This will be accomplished through functional out door gardening activites providing a stress-free, spiritual environment- working the land and providing pure, organic foods for the health of their family. Families will grow and harvest their own food or donate to needy families.

Part 2: God’s foods are healing foods. The gardens will be an educational center teaching families how to stay healthy by working directly with the Health Ministry and Listening Prayer Ministry incorporating a prayer area into the garden, walking trail and classes on how to grow, harvest and prepare foods that will bring their family greater health.

Genesis 1:29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”

The entire earth is being repossessed! The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has been found to be the rightful owner. We are coming this week to our exploration of the Grand Narrative of Scripture. It is the return of the King.

Revelation 1:3 proclaims, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy.” Sunday we will read and explore the wonderful promises of Jesus’ return. If you want to read ahead, take a few moments to ponder Revelation 5. You might not recognize what is going on, but what is described is The Lion receiving the “Title Deed” to the cosmos! The rest of Revelation is the Lion putting His House in order.

We don’t know when this ends, but we know how this ends and it ends with a New Creation.
