LUG / Middle school

Welcome to LUG!

LUG (stands for Living Under Grace) is home to hundreds of middle school students and a whole host of caring volunteers. The major LUG gatherings are LUG AM on Sundays at 9am (year-round) and LUG Live on Wednesdays at 6pm (school year schedule).

Sundays at Grace

Parents of students, are you wondering what Sundays look like for you and your family? Although we will offer classes for adults at both 9am and 10:30am, you may want to consider attending a class at 9am while your student is at LUG AM, and then at 10:30am you can all worship together in the main worship gathering! Find out more and see classes for adults.

LUG AM

Join us Sundays at 9am in the Middle School room, downstairs.

LUG AM

Sundays at 9am in the Middle School room, downstairs in the main building. LUG AM focuses primarily on teaching and worship while LUG Live on Wednesdays is centered around small group Bible studies and interaction.

LUG Live

Wednesdays, 6-7:45pm during the school year. LUG Live is centered around small group Bible studies and interaction. Each of these small LUG groups include a handful or two of students who are led by a LUG Head (a high schooler) and overseen by a parent volunteer. The Wednesday gatherings also mix in a bit of middle school fun and offer kids an opportunity to worship God together as a large group with a few hundred fellow students. And that’s just for starters. There’s a lot more going on with LUG and we hope you’ll check it out.

LUG hangs

LUG Hangs are designed to give our LUG Live community a place to come together and hang out during the parts of the year that LUG Live does not meet. All middle school students and LUG Heads are invited! It is a great space to bring a friend and hang out and have a lot of fun! No registration is required.

CAMPUS THRIVE

Campus Thrive is a ministry where middle school students are empowered to be leaders within their schools. Students put their training into practice once a week at their local school, where their peers attend and experience the gospel. Students lead in worship, teachings, and skits that represent the Kingdom.

Interested in visiting LUG or have a question?
We would love to hear from you!

Here at LUG, we believe strongly in the work of parent’s in their students’ lives. We want to walk alongside of you as your kids grow in maturity and their relationship in the Lord. We also want you to know how much we value your student’s safety and take every step we can to ensure it remains intact. Here are some questions that parents often ask us that we hope will help answer your questions as well.

1) What is the difference between LUG Live and LUG AM?: LUG AM meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. During LUG AM students hear some teaching from God’s Word, connect with each other, and worship God together. LUG Live meets on Wednesday nights during the school year. It also includes hearing from God’s word, community, and worship, but adds in some crazy skits and games and, most importantly, discipleship. Middle School students break off into small groups where they learn about God’s Word from each other and High School leaders we call LUG Heads, overseen by parent volunteers called LUG Adults.

2) Who should I contact if I have a prayer request? We believe in the power of prayer. If you have a prayer request, please email requests to .

3) How can I stay in the loop? Visit our Connect page to sign up for email updates, like our Facebook page, and more!

4) How can I help? There are two great ways you can help. The first way is through prayer! It is through your prayer and God’s work that we are able to do the things we do, so never stop praying for these students and our ministry. Secondly, We love volunteers! Without volunteers, we simply could not do the ministry we do here at Grace. If you would like to be a part of LUG, email Maggie Hammond, our Volunteer Coordinator, at .

Here at Grace, we highly value investing in our local community. One of the ways we do that is through supporting the Boy Scouts of America. We host a local Boy Scout troop, Troop 231, that meets in our D House on Mondays from 7 to 8:30pm. For more information, contact Scoutmaster Craig Knowlton at , or visit the troop’s website below.
