ELDERS

Grace Snellville is governed by a board of elders who oversee the health, life and ministry of Grace Snellville and other Grace Fellowship Church campuses. The pastoral team and staff are all accountable to the Elder Board, whose primary function is to serve and pray for that portion of God’s widespread family that gathers at Grace.

Once a year, the congregation and current board are asked to submit elder nominations based on their own observations and according to the scriptural guidelines for elders set forth in the New Testament. The nominees are evaluated by the board’s nominations committee, which will select and present a slate of candidates. These candidates are affirmed by the board and subsequently by the church membership before beginning a three year term of eldership. Following the three year term, an elder is eligible for reaffirmation if he desires to continue his service on the board.
