Strong Lives. Strong Families. Strong Community.
ARE YOU UP FOR THE STRONG CHALLENGE?
It’s not a race, but it is a commitment — for 20 minutes a day, five days a week for eight weeks, we’ll experiment with challenges and rhythms designed to open us up to the God who spiritually strengthens us. And each week during our Sunday gatherings and in your “home team” (small groups of up to 12 people experiencing the journey together) we’ll look at the life of Jesus in order to learn from the strongest man who ever lived.
Take the challenge, have some fun and discover what it means to be strong.
Post your progress on the Facebook Event Page.
The Weekly Rhythm
- Attend the weekend service.
The weekend teaching is the starting point that provides the foundation for each week’s challenges, and gets us all on the same page, moving in the same direction. Beginning Sunday, August 27th at 9:30 and 11am.
- Complete 5 Strong Card challenges.
Pick five cards that correspond to the weekend teaching and set aside 15-20 minutes each day to complete a challenge. Write down any observations, insights, prayers or thoughts that come to mind.
- Meet with your Home Team.
Training is more fun and effective with partners to encourage us and hold our feet to the fire. So whether you meet in someone’s home, the break room at work or the local coffee shop, make sure you’re in a small group.
